Reshmee Jugmohun - Prominent Properties Sotheby's International Realty
Hello, I'm Reshmee
Buying or selling a home is a life-changing decision. I have never forgotten that, and it shapes how I work.
What matters most to me is building trust and relationships. In practice that means giving you my full attention, staying beside you through every step, and being reachable when a question comes up, because questions rarely arrive at convenient times. I want my clients to feel valued and appreciated, not processed.
I listen first. Then I advise.
I know what a move asks of a family
I have lived in Italy, Mauritius and the United Kingdom, and I have called the United States home since 2007. I am fluent in English, French, Italian and Mauritian Creole.
I did not learn about relocation from a training course. I have done it myself, domestically and internationally. I know the timing, the paperwork, and the questions nobody warns you about until you are already in the middle of it. If you are arriving from another country or another state, we can work through it in your language and at your pace.
What I did before real estate still helps you today
I earned my LLB in law at the University of Buckingham and my MBA at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. I then spent years in the corporate world in Europe and the United States, including roles in wealth management and at a title company.
A title company's job is to confirm that a property can legally pass from seller to buyer without complications. Having worked inside that process, I can often see the problems that delay or derail a closing before they surface, and I can explain in plain language what something like a title exception actually means for you. My legal training sharpens the same instinct. I do not practice law and I will not give you legal advice, but I do know which questions to ask, and when it is worth bringing in someone who can answer them properly.
I am also a licensed New Jersey Notary Public, which can make signing simpler at the point in a transaction when timing tends to matter most.
Where I live, and why that matters to you
I have lived in Mahwah for more than a decade. I also serve on the boards of several local civic and educational organizations, including a leadership role with a youth business program.
I do not mention that as a credential. I mention it because it is how I know these towns: how they are changing, what residents are actually concerned about, and which neighborhoods people are moving toward and why. That is not something you can pull from a market report.
Credentials
I am a licensed New Jersey real estate agent with Prominent Properties Sotheby's International Realty in Saddle River. My New Jersey Real Estate License number is 1909890, and I am a licensed New Jersey Notary Public.
I have earned a place in the Million Dollar Club, and I have received the NJ Realtors Circle of Excellence Sales Award at the Bronze level four times: in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2025.
I am a member of both the New Jersey Multiple Listing Service (NJMLS) and the Garden State Multiple Listing Service (GSMLS). Belonging to both means your listing can reach buyers working with agents on either service, and your search can draw on both sets of inventory.
I specialize in residential property in Bergen County, and I work with buyers and sellers across Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Morris, Hudson and Union counties.
